No Mayo Deviled Eggs 2

12 hard boiled eggs – peeled
1/2 cup olive oil
1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Salt & Pepper – to taste
paprika (optional)


1. Cut peeled eggs in half length wise and place yolks in a mixing bowl, set the whites aside. Mash the yolks with the back of a fork and add olive oil, vinegar, and lemon juice. Mix well and salt and pepper to your liking.

2. Spoon or pipe the filling back into egg white.

3. Cover and refrigerate at least one hour before serving.

no mayo or pickle relish- add tarter sauce instead

You can also subsititute mayo and olive oil with soft butter about the same amount melted 1/2cup (its the way they were made before mayo existed) And its actually quite good.

Use half-and half- instead of mayo. Same amount as the recipe calls for mayo. Betty Crocker cookbook.
